When it comes to home decor and design, my husband and I are on completely different ends of the style spectrum. I am, and always have been, drawn to a French country farmhouse kind of style, while my husband thinks anything with wood and covered in leather is just fine by him (he’s a born and bred Texas boy, so you can’t blame him, right?). Pretty early on in our relationship, he realized that letting me take the lead when it came to decorating our home was very important to me and made me happy. To be honest, he really couldn’t care less about what our home looked like, as long as he was comfortable and I was happy. So he graciously stepped aside and gave me the go ahead to do as I pleased (within reason, of course).
Over the years, hubby has made one request in our home that I have just not been able to get onboard with: a recliner. Friends, do you know how difficult it is to find a recliner that doesn’t look like a giant sack of potatoes? I just couldn’t bear the idea of such a monstrous, shapeless, ugly chair like that living in our house…until recently. Did I change my mind and suddenly find beauty in the beastly chairs? Or did I finally let love for my husband outweigh my sense of style?
NOPE. Neither of those things happened. What changed is that I am finally starting to discover some recliners that are actually pretty attractive chairs! Not only that, they fit nicely into my preferred French country farmhouse style. Attractive, farmhouse-style recliners can still be pretty hard to find, but lucky for you I’ve gathered a good handful of them here for you to check out!

Beautiful Farmhouse Style Recliners
With chairs that look like these, I won’t have any problem fulfilling my husband’s long-standing request for a recliner. I think my biggest obstacle will be trying to pick which one I love most! Which one is your favorite?
