I’ve got a few crocus plants in my yard, and I get so excited every year when they bloom. They’re first to bloom, and the first official signs of spring over here at PLP.
But I’m actually dropping in to share a few things I found while thrifting lately.
I try to go to my local thrift stores at least once a week. Some days I find things, some days I don’t. But a lot of my little knick knacks are collections of various thrift store trips.
Lately Iv’e really been scoring in the basket department. Most of my baskets around the house are thrift store finds.
These baskets I snagged for $2.50 a piece.
They currently sit empty on top of my kitchen cabinets. But they’re pretty, so I’ll find a use for them.
I almost passed this little cutie up, because I have a habit of collecting things that I like, but have no use.
So it sits alone in my garage until someone says ‘man, I really need (insert random item here)’,
and then I go ‘I have one! It’s buried in my garage somewhere!
I’ll let you know when I find it…”
Anyway, I wasn’t sure what it was or what to do with it.
But Now I have it hanging in my little hallway, and it collects all the checks that Brian gets from his lessons. Got that for $1.00.
And that’s it for today. I’m hoping to have my guest post finished soon. I’m waiting on a few finished photos to wrap things up.
Happy Thursday! Have you done any good thrifting lately?
