Things are falling apart over here! Quite literally!
In the spirit of transparency, here’s what really goes on around here.
See my wood arrow art I made in the last post? The middle arrow fell off. I attempted to tape it back up for now, but that obviously didn’t work!
I’m also working on some task lighting that is just falling apart as I’m mounting it to the wall. yikes!
Can you tell that the light isn’t even copper? Probably not, because the copper that is supposed to be copper isn’t even really that copper looking. Anyway, someone switched the cap on the spray paint that I bought. This is actually ‘antique gold’.
I’m starting to think I need to rearrange this wall to make it less busy. The light looks pretty good, but I’m not ready to give a tutorial until I work out all the kinks.
And I thought I was good to go, after deciding to use some copper liquid leaf, but I quickly ran out (because I was using a bottle I had laying around). So I’m going back to my search for the right copper spray paint. There’s no turning back now!
In the meantime, I’ll give you a little PSA:
Don’t put your liquid leaf in a plastic cup. It will melt. and get all over your floor, and will stain because liquid leaf is indestructible.
The good news is that the cup fell apart while I was hovering over this plastic bag. It saved my carpet!
But the cup could not be saved.
