The Living Room
My favorite room in my home, well in any home really, is the living room. It’s where we spend most of our time during the day, where I work in the early morning hours, where my husband and I unwind at night and binge watch Netflix; really if we had just a living room, bathroom and a HUGE storage room for my craft stuff in our house I think I would be set. And when I look at comfy, cozy living rooms this one from Episode 3, The West Story, looks about as comfy as it gets.

From the big chairs to that gorgeous coffee table, perfect for the kids to do crafts on, everything in this room feels like home. I love that the room flows into the dining room and kitchen but not directly into the kitchen. Our living room right now is connected with our kitchen and while I loved the openness of the layout at first now I wish we had a barrier, or more room between the two rooms.
The layout of this Fixer Upper home and living room is ideal for newlyweds, young families, empty nesters, really anyone. And speaking of nests, aren’t those centerpieces on the coffee table the cutest?! My grandmother collects bird houses and I might have to buy a set of these for her next birthday.
